Fasse Paint Company

The Industrial Division of Fasse Paint Company (Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin) manufactures wood and metal coatings for industrial applications and aerosol cans.  The Company was managed and owned by a second generation family that realized the next growth phase of Fasse would best be achieved through a sale of the company to a strategic buyer.  A critical factor in the sale process was the family’s desire to maintain the Fasse legacy within the community, which specifically included retaining the jobs of the employee base.  

Grace Matthews identified a select group of strategic buyers that could fulfill the Fasse family’s desired outcomes.   During the process, Diamond Vogel emerged as the best possible buyer for the Industrial Division of Fasse Paint Company.   Family-owned Diamond Vogel operates manufacturing facilities throughout the Midwest, and was able to leverage Fasse’s manufacturing capabilities, while further establishing a presence in Wisconsin.  The transaction was completed in December 2010.
