BASF - W.R. Grace & Co.

BASF has sold its global Polyolefin Catalysts business to W.R. Grace & Co., a global leader in specialty chemicals and materials. The Polyolefin Catalysts business was part of BASF’s Catalysts division. Grace Matthews, Inc. advised BASF on this transaction.

The transaction includes technologies, patents, trademarks, and the transfer of BASF’s production plants in Pasadena, Texas and Tarragona, Spain. Approximately 170 employees globally will also transfer to W.R. Grace & Co.
