MILWAUKEE (April 1, 2020) – Tingue, Brown & Co., a global supplier of commercial laundry products, has sold its subsidiary Meese, Inc. (“Meese”) to Tank Holding (“Tank”), a portfolio company of Olympus Partners. Grace Matthews advised Tingue, Brown & Co. on this transaction.
Meese is a leading rotational molder of proprietary and custom-molded plastic products for a range of industries including laundry, recycling, material handling, and recreation. Founded in 1931, Meese is a pioneer in the design and development of bulk laundry carts, containers and other plastic products using rotational molding.
“Meese has built an excellent reputation under Tingue, Brown & Co.’s ownership,” commented Jon Glapa, Director at Grace Matthews. “With a complementary fit between Tank and Meese, we have no doubt this will continue going forward.”
The Meese announcement represents Tank Holding’s 10th acquisition in about 16 months, and further enhances the company’s far-reaching portfolio of products to serve a wide variety of end markets through a growing number of distribution channels. “Meese represents an important part of Tank Holding’s overall growth strategy, which is to establish leading positions in markets that are adjacent to our legacy core business, where we can leverage our industry knowledge and expertise to create greater value for our customers,” said Greg Wade, CEO of Tank Holding.
