MILWAUKEE (December 16, 2025) – Diamond Vogel, a family-owned and operated manufacturer of high-quality paints and coatings, announces the sale of certain architectural paint store locations, primarily in Iowa and adjacent states, to Spectrum Paint (“Spectrum”). Grace Matthews advised Diamond Vogel on the transaction.
Diamond Vogel is implementing a strategic transformation in its approach to the architectural coatings market. As part of this shift, the company is divesting its company-owned retail stores that primarily serve painting contractors, homeowners, and maintenance professionals.
Spectrum Paint has agreed to acquire Diamond Vogel’s architectural paint business across 12 locations and will assume operations at 9 stores in central Iowa. Spectrum plans to continue operations at these sites and retain all current employees.
