Our Team

Sam French, Senior Analyst, joined Grace Matthews in 2019, and supports clients across the chemical and materials value chain. Sam holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While at Madison, Sam was a rostered, walk-on member and team manager of the Men’s Novice Crew team, and worked as a research assistant within University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Pharmacy Drug Discovery Core. As a research assistant, Sam researched non-bactericidal solutions to the antibiotic resistance problem through identification of biofilm inhibiting small molecules, their biosynthetic pathways, and their mechanisms of action.

Prior to joining Grace Matthews, Sam worked as a Corporate Actions Specialist at Robert W. Baird in Milwaukee within their reorganization team gaining experience in debt and equity corporate actions, bankruptcies, and other various corporate restructuring events.
